Long-term unemployed MARTHA needs to support her daughter DAWN's acceptance onto a STEM programme in secondary school. Through the charity Hemline she meets recently widowed SHEENA. Their different worlds collide until they learn to trust each other in preparation for Martha’s first job interview.
In 2017, Oonagh was commissioned to write and direct ON THE HEMLINE as part of the RTE Storyland Scheme. The pilot was produced by Barbara Healy and Tyrella Pictures. It was broadcast on the RTE iPlayer between November 2017 and January 2018 and stars Irish actors Eileen Walsh and Cathy Belton.

In April 2019, Oonagh attended the Torino TFL Extended TV Series Lab where the focus of the series shifted from MARTHA and SHEENA to their teen children DAWN and TOBY. Oonagh gave the series a new title, NOTIONS.
In September 2019, Oonagh was invited back to Torino to develop the story bible for NOTIONS with tutor Eszter Angyalosy as part of the TFL Extended Story Editing TV Lab.
In 2020, Notions began development with RTE with script editor Eszter Angyalosy.
In 2021, while writing Notions, Oonagh took part in Emmanuel Oberg’s Screenplay Unlimited TV Series course.
Since 2022, Notions is being developed by RTE and Keeper Pictures, with producers Yvonne O’Donoghue and Katie Holly and script editor Emma Keveaney.
